Style Moderne is a brassware collection from Samuel Heath inspired by the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. Facetted spouts, geometric forms and stepped detailing define the range, with black chrome lever and cross top controls alongside optional hand cut glass elements. Basin taps, bath taps, shower fittings and accessories are all included, manufactured in Birmingham from solid brass.
Style Moderne takes its name from the original French term for the Art Deco movement, and the design brief throughout is an honest engagement with that period rather than a surface reference to it. Facetted spout geometry, stepped forms and linear detailing are drawn directly from the architectural and decorative vocabulary of the 1920s and 1930s, then reinterpreted in materials and proportions that hold their own in today's interiors. Control options range from bold black chrome levers and cross tops to individually cut glass elements, giving the collection considerable range across very different project types.
