The Project
Set within the historic Eastwood Park estate in Falfield, Gloucestershire, this Elmsley Homes development brings together thirteen individually designed properties.
Designed to sit naturally within their surroundings, the homes combine natural stone, earth-coloured render and burnt cedar cladding, with landscaped gardens and a woodland walk running along the edge of the development.
Eastwood Park is being delivered in phases, with Salacia appointed to design the first thirteen homes in Phase 1.
The Brief
Elmsley Homes wanted the bathrooms to reflect the quality and considered design of the wider development, while working naturally within the individual layouts of each home.
Salacia was brought on board to help design and specify the bathrooms, creating a cohesive specification across the seven homes while giving each space its own character.
Salacia’s Role
Salacia designed and specified bathrooms across thirteen homes, working from the individual house layouts to create a cohesive specification across the development.
The team coordinated the sanitaryware, vanity furniture, brassware, baths, shower trays and shower systems, considering how each element would work within the individual room.
With Armera as a key supply partner, their sanitaryware and furniture formed an important part of the specification. Salacia guided the product selection, using our design expertise to help Elmsley Homes explore the options and build a considered specification for each room.
With Salacia managing the specification and supply, the various elements could then be brought together as one coordinated bathroom package across all thirteen homes.
Our Solution
The final specification combines Armera sanitaryware, furniture and brassware with Salacia’s own baths and shower trays, supported by carefully selected shower and wetroom systems.
The consistency comes through the sanitaryware and brassware, while different furniture finishes give each bathroom its own identity.

- Palladium vanity units in Natural Oak for the family bathrooms.

- Opa vanity units in Cavern Blue for the second en-suites.
- Vaere basin mixers in chrome, bottle traps and bath filler and waste sets throughout.
- Index shower valves, slide rail kits and shower packs across the family bathroom, master en-suite and second en-suite.
- Scene mirrors throughout, sized to suit each individual room.
Complementary Products
- Crosswater Limit vanity units as an alternative option across a number of plots.
- AYO modular wetroom panels for the master and second en-suites.
- Verve single bathscreens for the family bathrooms.
- Oro bifold shower doors for the second en-suites.
The Result
The bathrooms at Eastwood Park feel connected to the wider homes rather than treated as a standardised package.
Across the Phase 1 properties, the core specification creates consistency, while the different vanity finishes, room layouts and showering arrangements give each bathroom a distinct feel.
For Elmsley Homes, the project also marked the start of a new working relationship with Salacia. From the initial introduction through to bathroom design, product selection and supply, the two teams worked together to develop a specification that complemented the wider vision for Eastwood Park.
The result is a bathroom specification that reflects the philosophy behind Eastwood Park itself: considered design, quality materials and attention to the details that make a house feel like a home.
Eastwood Park was our first project with Salacia, and we really value their input from the design stage through to specification and supply. They helped us develop the bathroom layouts and were able to guide us through the product selection, giving us confidence that the specification would work consistently across all thirteen homes.
