The Project

Horsley Grange is a collection of four individually designed homes, set within a peaceful countryside setting. Combining traditional architectural character with contemporary living, the homes have been designed to sit comfortably within their surroundings, with open greenbelt views adding to the sense of space and tranquillity.

That considered approach continues into the bathrooms. Salacia worked with Oak & Olive to design, specify and supply the bathrooms throughout the development, bringing together a coordinated product specification that complements the character of the homes while meeting the practical demands of modern living.

Bespoke vanity furniture, quartz worktops and Bright Nickel brassware bring detail and individuality to the spaces, while the baths, showering products and wet-room systems provide the practical performance expected of a contemporary home.

Across four substantial detached properties, the opportunity was to give every bathroom the same level of consideration as the wider interiors, creating spaces that feel cohesive, well resolved and integral to each home.

The Brief

The brief was to create a cohesive bathroom specification across the four homes, while ensuring each room responded to its individual layout and requirements.

From statement bathing spaces through to family bathrooms, en-suites and cloakrooms every element needed to feel purposeful, combining bespoke furniture with coordinated sanitaryware, brassware and showering systems.

Oak & Olive also needed a partner to take responsibility for the specification and supply of the bathroom package, bringing together specialist manufacturers and bespoke elements within one coordinated approach.

Salacia’s Role

Salacia was appointed to specify and supply the bathrooms throughout Horsley Grange.

Working from the individual layouts, our team coordinated sanitaryware, brassware, bespoke joinery, quartz worktops, baths, showers and wet-room systems, creating a specification that could be delivered consistently across the development while allowing each bathroom to respond to its own space.

The result is a bathroom specification that feels cohesive across Horsley Grange without becoming repetitive.

For Oak & Olive, Salacia provided a single point of responsibility across the bathroom package, from specification through to the supply of individual products and bespoke elements.

Our Solution

The specification brings together Salacia’s bespoke furniture and worktops with products from a considered mix of specialist bathroom brands.

Salacia

  • Bespoke reeded vanity furniture and painted vanity units bring texture and a furniture-led quality to the bathrooms.
  • Lagoon Quartz worktops provide a clean, refined surface, with bespoke detailing to suit the individual furniture and layouts.
  • Wall-hung pans with soft-close seats provide a streamlined, contemporary finish.

Vitra

  • S20 sanitaryware provides a simple, timeless foundation for the wider bathroom specification.

Vado

  • The Booth & Co collection in Bright Nickel brings a traditional, tactile quality to the bathrooms.
  • Coordinated basin mixers, bath and shower fittings, concealed valves and accessories establish a consistent brassware finish.

Ashton & Bentley

  • Oceanus baths in Matt White provide a sculptural focal point in the bathing spaces.

Claygate

  • Cayono baths provide a practical, clean-lined option for family bathrooms.

Majestic

  • Monaco shower panels in 10mm glass and polished nickel, alongside Genoa frameless bath screens, provide coordinated showering solutions.

CCL

  • Wet-room systems, linear drains and wall grills complete the technical specification, with components coordinated to suit individual layouts.

TECE & McAlpine

  • WC frames, flush controls and basin traps provide the concealed technical elements behind the finished bathrooms.

Vogue

  • Ballerina electric towel rails provide a consistent finishing detail across the development.

The Result

At Horsley Grange, the bathrooms have been considered as an integral part of the homes rather than a standard specification repeated from room to room. The scheme carries a clear sense of continuity, with individual details that respond to each space.

Bespoke furniture, quartz worktops and coordinated brassware bring warmth and character, while carefully planned showering systems and concealed components keep the overall design clean and considered.

For Oak & Olive, working with Salacia brought the bathroom package together through one specification and supply partner, coordinating specialist manufacturers, bespoke elements and technical systems across four individually designed large homes.

The result is a collection of bathrooms that reflects the wider approach at Horsley Grange: traditional architectural character, contemporary living and attention to detail throughout.

“Working with Salacia gives us confidence that every element of the bathroom specification has been carefully considered. Their team understands how to bring different products and finishes together, while keeping the practical requirements of the development in mind. Having one team coordinate the specification and supply makes the process considerably more straightforward, allowing us to focus on delivering the wider project.”
