The Project
Set in the picturesque market town of Edenbridge, The Senary is a boutique development of just six five-bedroom properties, developed by Silver Homes. Each set over three floors, these residences have been thoughtfully designed to offer the best of old and new, with traditional craftsmanship and timeless elegance combined with the pinnacle of modern design and convenience.
Salacia was appointed to design, specify and supply the bathroom packages across every home in the development, from the cloakrooms and ensuites through to the family bathrooms, ensuring a consistent standard of quality and finish throughout this small but distinctive scheme.
The Brief
Having worked with Salacia on previous developments, the developer returned to us to specify the bathrooms at The Senary. The brief called for an elevated finish throughout, with a consistent standard of quality carried across all six plots, while still allowing each home its own distinct design finish.
Salacia’s Role
With only six homes to specify, every detail mattered. Salacia’s design team worked through each plot’s family bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom, bringing together a considered mix of Salacia’s own sanitaryware, Vado brassware and furniture, Kaldewei bathing and Claygate showering, alongside bespoke oak joinery from Rye Joinery for a tailored finishing touch.
Our Solution
The specification runs consistently across the cloakroom, ensuites and family bathrooms in each of the six homes, built around four core suppliers.
Salacia
- Rimless Back to Wall WC & Soft Close Seat, specified throughout.
- Bespoke oak shelving to the cloakroom, made to order by Salacia’s Rye Joinery to match the display specification.
Vado
- Concealed cisterns with round button flush plates in chrome.
- Cameo Oval Countertop Basin with Origins wall mounted Basin Mixer in the cloakroom.
- Origins Slimline Basin Mixer taps.
- Tablet 10 Altitude thermostatic shower Nebula round shower heads on Elements fixed ceiling-mounted arms, all in chrome.
Armera
- Opa 600mm two-drawer vanity units with matching ceramic vanity basins
Kaldewei
- Eurowa steel bath with dedicated install kit, finished with white bath panels in the family bathroom.
Claygate
- A range of Artesan shower trays in white, sized to suit each room.
- H6 sliding shower doors in silver, and H8 wetroom screens.
- Silea ladder towel rail in chrome.
The Results
The finished bathrooms bring a genuinely cohesive feel to The Senary, with a specification that reads as considered and high quality across every one of the six homes, while still allowing each bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom its own character through layout and finish. For the developer, working with a single supply partner across the whole scheme meant one point of contact, one consistent standard, and a smoother path from specification through to completion.
“Salacia brought a level of care to this project that you don’t often find at this scale. With just six homes, every detail counted, and their team treated each one with the same attention as a single private commission. The result is a specification that feels genuinely considered throughout, and a supply process that made our job a great deal easier.”
