The Project

Willowbrook is Rosetta Group’s development of three four-bedroom homes in Wadesmill, a historic hamlet along the River Rib, close to the market town of Ware. Designed to a high standard throughout, each home includes a cloakroom, family bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms.

Salacia was appointed to specify, coordinate and supply the sanitaryware, furniture, brassware, baths and shower systems across all four bathroom spaces in each house – twelve rooms in total. The brief called for a scheme that felt cohesive across the development, while allowing each room to have its own distinct character.

The Brief

With only three houses on the site, the brief was never going to be about creating a standardised bathroom package. Each space needed to feel considered and individual, while still belonging to the same overall scheme.

The look needed to feel classic and enduring rather than dictated by fashion. Brushed gold was chosen as the unifying finish, creating a consistent thread across the development, while furniture colours, tile choices and layouts could shift from room to room.

Salacia's Role

Salacia’s specification covered the cloakroom, family bathroom and two en-suite shower rooms in every house.

Working from the house layouts, our team brought sanitaryware, vanity furniture, concealed cisterns, brassware, baths and shower enclosures together into one coordinated specification. Managing products and finishes from multiple suppliers was central to our role, ensuring consistency across all three plots from specification through to supply.

Our Solution

Armera

  • Reef wall hung cloakroom basins with brushed gold overflow covers.
  • Atoll 600mm two drawer wall hung vanity units in Potters Clay with 600mm cabinet basins, specified for the family bathroom and second en-suite.
  • Palladium 600mm wall hung vanity units in Potters Clay, paired with a 1200mm double cabinet basin in the master en-suite.

Vado

  • Edit mini mono basin mixer in brushed gold for the cloakroom, with Elements wall mounted basin mixers for the family bathroom and both en-suites.
  • Concealed frames and cisterns with round button flush plates in brushed gold throughout.
  • Elements two thermostatic shower valves with round fixed heads, wall arms and single function shower kits in brushed gold for both en-suites.
  • Origins freestanding bath shower mixer in brushed gold for the family bathroom.

Eastbrook

  • Charlton freestanding bath, specified for the family bathroom in each home.

Traymate

  • Elementary shower trays in the master and second en-suite, with matching wastes and waste covers.

Lakes

  • Brushed brass sliding shower door for the master en-suite and a brushed brass wetroom panel for the second en-suite.

The Results

Across the three homes, the bathrooms feel cohesive without becoming repetitive. Brushed gold brassware, flush plates and glazing create a consistent thread throughout, while the tiling and furniture shift the mood from room to room – deep green in the cloakroom, warm stone in the en-suites and white marble in the family bathroom. The result is a scheme that feels timeless, considered and designed to last.

Wall-hung vanity units and concealed cisterns keep the floors clear and sightlines clean, helping the rooms feel more open and spacious – particularly beneath the sloping ceilings of the upper-floor shower rooms.

For Rosetta Group, having Salacia coordinate the sanitaryware, furniture, brassware and glazing across all three plots provided one point of contact and a complete, consistent specification from one room to the next.

Design Notes

The bathrooms use a restrained palette of classic forms and warm finishes, with brushed gold brassware providing a consistent thread throughout the three homes.

Wall-hung Armera furniture in Potters Clay brings warmth and texture to the scheme, while the changing tile palettes give each room its own character- from deep green in the cloakroom to warmer stone tones in the en-suites and white marble in the family bathroom.

The Vado brushed gold brassware, concealed flush plates and Lakes brushed brass glazing were selected to create a cohesive finish across the bathrooms, balancing the practical requirements of the space with a more distinctive design statement.
